The “Collaborative Futures: Mastering Participatory Community Development” e-learning curriculum is already launched. Developed collaboratively by the Promenhance partners under the lead of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest. This course is tailored for students, early-career practitioners, and anyone passionate about making a positive impact in their communities.

The curriculum comprises ten comprehensive modules, each focusing on critical aspects of participatory community development. Participants will engage with key topics such as community assessment, strategic planning, project management, and advocacy, all aimed at fostering sustainable communities across Europe capable of navigating the complexities of local governance and community engagement.

To foster greater inclusivity and reach a wider audience, we are pleased to announce that the 10 online video modules and digital tools are now available in five languages (English, Italian, Greek, Portuguese, and Romanian), ensuring a wider range of students can benefit from these valuable resources. As a student, you’ll benefit from these videos and digital tools. They provide an accountable and accessible reference, with modules that include both theoretical content and case study analyses, validated by local authorities, key stakeholders, and your peers.

As you approach the conclusion of “Collaborative Futures: Mastering Participatory Community Development,” you are invited to demonstrate your mastery through the final exam. The final exam consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, designed to assess your understanding of the key concepts, strategies, and tools that have been covered throughout the course. To help you focus on the most important information, key terms and concepts will be highlighted throughout the exam using bolding and other visual cues. Upon successful completion, you will receive the PROMENHANCE Certificate, acknowledging your skills and knowledge in creating impactful community development initiatives.
