The University of Torino is one of the most ancient, largest and prestigious Italian Universities. Hosting 75.000 students, 3.838 academic, administrative and technical staff, 2600 post-graduate and PHD students and with 120 buildings it offers over 150 undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. It has a remarkable research tradition both in traditional subjects and modern sectors, such as food science, social politics, IT, performing arts and communication sciences. UniTo has a long international experience, through the participation in transnational projects, the establishment of joint courses, through formal cooperation (around 600) with Universities and Institutions all around the world.

S-nodi operates at local, national and international levels by implementing action-research projects, networks between social innovators and impact investors, capacity building activities for policy makers, professionals, entrepreneurs and citizens on co-design and co creation of innovative actions fostering social inclusion, and through the active involvement of vulnerable citizens and socio-economic local development.

The Department of Teacher Education and Social Sciences comprises Romania’s largest academic environment within STEM teacher education offering initial and continuous profession-oriented bachelor’s and master’s programmes.

COFAC is a non-profit cooperative, responsible for the management of Lusófona University, recognised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education in 1998, and is the largest private university in Portugal, integrating 10 HEI in Portugal, Brazil, Cape Verde, Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau. It has a student body of more than 10.000 students and 1500 teachers and it is structured around 9 (nine) Schools that constitute the main institutional unit and offer 44 undergraduate Degrees, 45 Master Degrees, 11 PhD’s programs and 42 Post- graduation courses. Besides this, the university offers a large number of vocational and continuous training courses accordingly with the life-learning development paradigm. The University has a large experience in research and project management of European and international projects

Commonspace is a collaborative – interdisciplinary planning group that integrates research and practice for conceptualizing, developing, and implementing innovative tools and processes in the fields of Spatial Strategies, Architecture, Social Research, Urban and Environmental Design, Urban mobility, and Participatory Planning. Established as a Worker Cooperative, commonspace is based on the values of sustainability, inclusion, and aesthetics, and adopts a multi-level, participatory, and transdisciplinary approach implemented in the wide range of services it provides. Since 2020 commonspace has established a Living Lab called participatory LAB: Laboratory of Spatial, Urban and Environmental Participatory Planning for Climate Change Adaptation, an active, interdisciplinary community that studies, documents, learns, disseminates, and implements participatory planning.
